Gainesville Fight Update

Alex and Jennifer update.   Jennifer did not get to fight.  She had several opponents drop out on her all the way up to the day before the event.   She was really disappointed  because she was ready to fight.   Alex did fight and boy did he.   He weighed in a 135lbs.   He won the first two rounds and got hit with a lucky shot that dropped him in the third round.   He lost by TKO, but ALEX is a winner for stepping into the ring and giving it his ALL....    I am very proud of him....

2-27-10  NAGA Jiu-Jitsu Tournament

We had four of our students make the trip to Atlanta and compete today.   It was a family affair with the Cobb family, Dad and kids.   This was their very first tournament.   They ALL brought home medals in their Gi division.   Roy took 1st place, Tyler 2nd place, Jacob 2nd place and Mara 2nd place.   I am so proud of each one of them.

2-13-10  U.S. Grapplings Submission Only VII

It was a snowy weekend in Georgia for a Jiu-Jitsu tournament.   Because of that we only had one student make the drive to Savannah to compete, Josh Clements.   Josh weathered the snow and competed in both No-Gi and Gi divisions.   He took 2nd in No-Gi and 1st in Gi.   We are all proud of Josh for this.
